Los grandes avances de la tecnologa de la comunicacin han puesto muchsima informacin a nuestro alcance, cada vez con mayor facilidad. Sin embargo, el hecho de que tengamos tanta informacin a nuestro alcance no necesariamente implica que sepamos cmo procesar esa informacin. Este Manual nos da las herramientas para hacer un uso inteligente de la informacin. Primero que nada, nos dice al autor, la informacin se tiene que recopilar en sus diferentes manifestaciones, enseguida se tiene que clasificar, luego se deben evaluar las fuentes de informacin, no slo en cuanto a su confiabilidad y exactitud, sino tambin en lo relativo a su calidad. Despus, como parte del proceso de la informacin, se debe hacer un anlisis lgico para poder elaborar premisas y con ellas construir hiptesis que nos permitan tomar decisiones. Una lectura cuidadosa le dar al lector los conocimientos, habilidades y destrezas que le permitan desarrollar con ms eficacia sus actividades en el proceso de la informacin, sea cual fuere su actividad profesional. / The great development of communication technology has made accessible a great amount of information. Yet, this does not mean that we can adequately use all this information. This Manual provides the tools to make a clever use of the information available. First of all, the author suggests, we have to collect the information from various sources, then it needs to be classified, further on it needs to be evaluated, not only to see if it can be trusted, but also regarding its quality. Further on, as part of processing the information, there must be a logic analysis that will enable the elaboration of premises and then the construction of hypothesis that will lead to decision making. A careful reading of this book will give the reader the knowledge, abilities and tools th
