Acerca del autor (2007)

Peg Thoms is an Associate Professor of Management and Director of the MBA Program in the Black School of Business at Penn State-Erie. Recipient of the Walter F. Ulmer, Jr., Applied Research Award from the Center for Creative Leadership, she has numerous articles in journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Development Quarterly. Coauthor of Project Leadership from Theory to Practice and author of Driven by Time (Praeger, 2003), she has done extensive consulting, leadership development, and training with many organizations in the public and private sectors. Michael L. Walden is Reynolds Distinguished Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics, North Carolina State University, where he teaches courses in consumer economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and resource economics. He is the author of several books and over 200 academic articles, research monographs, conference presentations, and research reports on economic and consumer behavior. He writes and co-produces two radio programs, The Economic Perspective and The Economic Focus, writes the bi-weekly newspaper column, You Decide, and conducts public programs on issues of economic forecasting, behavior, and development.
